Craft and Canvas 6-Week Acrylic Painting Course – Taking Flight
Join us for a relaxed 6-week Acrylic Birds Painting Course at the lovely Westbourne Café, where we’ll build a beautiful collection of bird paintings together, one week at a time. Location: The Westbourne Cafe, The Square, Westbourne Date: Thursday 16th April - Thursday 21st May Time: 6.30-8.30pm Cost: £150 (including your own set of brushes, canvases and acrylic paints). Across six gentle, guided sessions, you’ll learn how to paint a different bird each week using acrylics - focusing on colour mixing, layering, brush control, and creating texture to bring your paintings to life. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with your own mini gallery of finished artworks and a much stronger confidence in painting. This course is designed especially for beginners (and those who think they “can’t paint”), with clear step-by-step guidance in a calm, friendly environment. We’ll explore both technique and style, helping you develop your own approach while still creating something you’re genuinely proud of. All materials are included, and each attendee will receive their own set of acrylic paints, paintbrushes and canvases to use throughout the course - so you can fully settle into the creative process without worrying about bringing anything along.
