Staff from Morrisons all across the country are taking part in a fundraising relay, with the goal to raise as much as possible for Marie Curie. Join us at Byker Morrisons on Sunday 2nd August between 11:00-13:00 as we take the baton for the North. Please come and help the staff and other volunteers with the fundraising relay.

Come and help with some general clearance, as well as removing some weeds and grass. We have already cleared a plot for one plot holder who was unable to do this herself and so it will be great to be back and supporting to restore this great community space. Please bring your own gardening gloves if you have them, all other tools will be provided. This will be quite a physically challenging task. Please feel free to stay for any length of time, or arrive after the task has started (get in touch if doing that). No facilities on site, nearest toilets are at Morrisons Cowgate. Free on street parking is available at the task. The what3words location is ///ruby.modern.added . The allotments aren’t visible from the street, but are hidden behind a big gate, on the left hand side of the road as you head down Greenhill View from Ponteland Road.
