IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS! But it’s time for Pa to-style fun at the Wardrobe Theatre. We could have a meal together (see below) but we’ll definitely go into the Wardrobe Theatre to watch "Notting Hell" for 19.30. This is a mash-up between Notting Hill and Scrooge. We have previously had a few socials to the mash-up parodies at the Wardrobe Theatre and they are very random but hilarious! Eternal pain and suffering, never-ending torment, ceaseless misery – falling in love isn’t always easy. When the foppishly handsome owner of a quaint bookshop falls for a jaw-droppingly gorgeous international mega celeb, little did he think he’d soon find himself deep in the fiery pits of the underworld, surrounded by horses, hounds and facing off with the cursed spawn of satan himself! Oh, bugger! This summer finding true love is going to take a lot of sacrifice, human sacrifice. Restaurant plans We may be able to book a table at Old Market Assembly. Previously we’ve had pizza sharing with a selection of pizzas, salad and potatoes. Melanie has booked 6 tickets for the show so far, £20 each and we may be able to get more So far: 1. It's Tuesday so it's a group run (and walk), meeting in (and returning to) Workout on Welsh Back - gloves are normally needed biting insects warning - insect repellent recommended - you have been warned! We’re lifting and shifting something somewhere. Or somewhere else. Changing facilities, lockers and loos are available at Workout Harbourside - bring your own padlock as Workout aren’t lending them anymore. Otherwise it’s just an er. We’re meeting outside Workout unless it’s raining (then it’s inside Workout) and leave just before 6.30 so aim to arrive at 6.20 It’s the first Tuesday of the month so instead of popping into ClubHaus at Workout for a drink after the run/walk - we’ll be off somewhere local for a bite to eat, watch this space!

Don't forget your gloves and we’ll make another part of this little paradise a bit tidier (and have time to say hi to our animal friends). We’re helping weed and tidy the short roads that join East Street by manually weeding so Bristol Waste don’t use pesticides on the area. Changing facilities, lockers and loos are available at Workout Harbourside - bring your own padlock as Workout aren’t lending them anymore. Otherwise it’s just an er. We’re meeting outside Workout unless it’s raining (then it’s inside Workout) and leave just before 6.30 so aim to arrive at 6.20 We’ll be popping into ClubHaus at Workout for a drink after the run/walk - pot of tea, pint of cider, whatever takes your fancy, plus lots of chat - lovely!

Let’s see what’s going on at Brunswick Cemetery - there'll be no shortage of buttercups, brambles, bindweed and grass growing in the wrong place, I'm sure! We can also enjoy whatever is blooming that’s supposed to be there. The brambles fight back so be prepared - gloves are good. There are also some new plants to get in the ground to grow up the new trellis. We normally take a break around 11 so bring a drink and snack with you if you think that'll help you carry on. You don’t need to commit to the whole two hours, pop in when you can. As ever, we’ll head for coffee/lunch after for those that want to and if the weather turns, we’ll pack up sooner.
