BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.
This activity will help with the fundementals on how to train and give you the basic mechanics of how to use gym equipment safely, also structure a workout ensuring form is correct. All juniors under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult to take part. Please only book onto one class each week. We will be working on one muscle group each week.
Regular practise of Tai chi can increase flexibility, strength and balance. There is emphasis on correct posture which develops a greater awareness of the body. It is a very effective exercise for the health of the mind and body which at the heart of it is a moving meditation. Breathing is used to aid visual and mental concentration and it helps people to feel more relaxed and grounded This can help to lower anxiety and stress whilst improving focus and aiding sleep Movements are fluid and slow. They are smooth, focused and fluid.
