Welcome to A Seat at the Table, a bold, discussion-led gathering for women ready to build the lives they want. This is not your average panel talk or networking night. It’s an experience. Each session explores a different theme, for example visibility or assertiveness. Led by experts in the relevant field, members meet to discuss how to find not just success but also fulfillment.
PyData Leeds is the Leeds Chapter of the International PyData Community. This is a community group for Yorkshire-based Data folk who want to get involved in the ever-growing Yorkshire tech sector. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies. PyData promotes a welcoming environment where everyone is valued, respected and included. PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organisation in the United States.
Welcome to The Third Place. In a world where it's easy to feel disconnected (especially without built-in family or school networks) we all need a "third place" outside of home and work. With traditional spaces changing and less focus on drinking culture, we decided to create our own. The Third Place is an active, welcoming community built on shared experiences. We host frequent meetups ranging from high-energy dance nights and parties to relaxed park hangs, hiking, and yoga. We use a collaborative leadership structure where different leaders will help run regular events to help shape the group and create their own niches.
