On May 1st, as spring reaches its fertile fullness, we will gather beneath the ancient trees of Moseley Bog to honour Beltane — an ancient turning point in the wheel of the year. Traditionally, Beltane marks a threshold: the crossing from intention into embodiment, from seed into bloom. It is a celebration of life-force energy, creativity, courage and becoming. In the quiet shelter of the forest at dusk, we will work gently with these themes through: 🕯 A symbolic candle ritual — each flame representing what you are ready to release, and what you are ready to ignite 🥁 Soft, grounding drumming to awaken rhythm within the body and reconnect to instinct 🌿 Nature-based mindfulness practices to anchor you into presence, sensation and awareness 🌸 A simple May ritual to honour growth, vitality and your next unfolding chapter This is not about performance or belief. It is about experience. Psychologically, seasonal rituals help the nervous system register change. They give shape to transition. They allow us to consciously close one chapter and step into another. Beltane is an invitation to ask: What in me is ready to bloom? What passion have I quietened? Where am I being called to step forward? Expect woodland air, birdsong softening into evening, candlelight flickering between the trees, and a sense of quiet reconnection — to nature, to others, and to the wilder, wiser part of yourself. Spaces will be limited to keep the gathering intimate. If you feel the pull of the forest this May Day, you are warmly invited to join us. Cost only £20 (payable on the day) We will be meeting in the Car Park on Yardley Wood Road Please contact me with any further questions Autumn

Games at The Hop Garden Venue: The Hop Garden, 19 Metchley Lane, Harborne Come and join us at the Hop Garden on Tuesday nights and play some games. Plenty of tables and good lighting all with some cracking games and delicious ales. All gamers are welcome and newcomers will be looked after by resident expert, award winning games designer, Andy Hopwood. The official games session hosted by Andy will run from 6.30pm but you are welcome to come down and start playing at any stage from 5pm. The staff go home at 10.30pm so we would ask that you time your games accordingly and do not start anything new after 10pm. It is free to play but we do ask that you buy any and all drinks from the venue. There is plenty of street parking near the venue and it's just a short distance from Harborne High Street. The venue is an old building and it has not been possible to make it wheelchair friendly, if you have any special needs please get in touch with Andy and he will let you know the exact situation and see what can be done. We ask that all attendees abide by standard rules of conduct. We are a diverse and open minded group. Insulting or inappropriate comments are not welcome. We all tend to play games with each other but it is ok to prefer to play certain games with your own friends and polite refusals are acceptable. If in doubt, talk to Andy.

West Midlands Fashion Network

Wed
📅 20 May 2026
📍 B1 2NJ

Where Fashion Meets Business in the West Midlands. About: This group is being built to create a shared resource for the local fashion industry. Whether you're a fashion student, emerging label, founder, retailer or industry professional, this group is for those treating fashion as a business and actively working towards growth. Why Join? We bring together the creative and commercial sides of fashion to share resources, support launches, and help each other move forward. If you’re starting to build a brand, running a store, or contributing to the commercial side of fashion, this is your space. We'll be meeting monthly on Wednesdays, with a mix of in-person meetups, online sessions, and industry events across the West Midlands. LAUNCH SESSION: For networking to be worthwhile, we need a critical mass of different voices in the room. To ensure we have the right mix for our very first session, I’ve decided to move our launch date to Wednesday, May 20th. The New Plan: Because many of you are balancing busy schedules, I'm considering an online session via Zoom for this first one. This would be a focused, 30-minute welcome session to kick things off without the commute. We'd love your quick input: 1\. Would you prefer an online session for the first meet\, or an in\-person event? 2\. Does a 6:30 PM or 7:30 PM start time work OK for you? Please hit reply or comment on the Meetup board to let us know.* JOIN US If you’re looking for a space to connect, share, and grow within the business of fashion, we’d love to have you involved.

Conversations About Habits and Change

Tue
📅 30 Jun 2026
📍 B14 6PL

Conversations About Habits and Change There are patterns many of us recognise in ourselves. Habits we return to. Ways of reacting that feel automatic. Things we’ve tried to change, yet somehow find ourselves circling back to again. This group is a space to explore those experiences through thoughtful conversation, shared reflection, and curiosity about how people think, behave, and change. Together, we’ll explore topics connected to habits, mindset, self-awareness, behaviour, and personal growth in a way that feels grounded, open, and accessible. Some gatherings may include reflective exercises or guided moments of pause, while others may centre more around discussion and shared perspectives. Who is this group for? This space may resonate with you if: • You’re interested in understanding yourself more deeply • You’re curious about habits, mindset, and behaviour • You enjoy thoughtful conversation and reflection • You value personal growth, but in a calm and realistic way • You’d like to connect with others exploring similar questions You do not need any prior experience or background knowledge to take part. What happens at the events? Each gathering will have a slightly different theme, but sessions may include: • Group discussion and shared reflection • Exploration of ideas connected to habits and change • Gentle mindfulness or reflective exercises • Space to listen, think, and contribute in whatever way feels comfortable There is no pressure to share, no expectation to have answers, and no need to prepare anything in advance. You’re welcome to simply come along, listen, and take part in your own way. At its heart, this group is about creating space for more honest conversations about the patterns we live with, and the ways people grow and change over time.

We're a friendly bunch and we arrange a lot of interesting events for you lovely people which include meals, night's out for drinks, live music, comedy clubs, walks, escape rooms, sports events ... the list goes on. All are welcome to join, there are no restrictions here.  All that we ask is that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct: Respect all members regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or disability.   2. Do not behave inappropriately towards other members or Hosts, this includes language, physical touching or unsolicited messages.  Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the group.  3. If you RSVP to events as "Going" and can no longer attend please change your RSVP to "Not Going" as soon as possible. If you RSVP as "Going" and do not attend and do not change your RSVP to "Not Going", you will be flagged as a "No Show".  Repeated no-showers are logged and will be removed from the group.   4. You do not need to RSVP as "Not Going" if you have no intention of attending an event. "Not Going" is only needed if you were originally going but can no longer attend an event.  5. If you are not sure whether you will be able to attend an event or not but would still like to keep track of the event so that you don't forget about it then you can save the event to your "Saved" list by clicking on the star symbol (*) at the top of the screen.  The event then shows in your saved list and should you closer to the time time find that you can attend, you can then submit your RSVP.    6. DO NOT block spaces on events by submitting an RSVP as "Going" when you are not confident that you can attend.  7. The discussion board and comments are not a place for negativity or harassment, if someone is being deliberately difficult, or posts messages that are not in keeping with the spirit of the group they will be removed from the group.   8. If you have any concerns then please do direct message myself or one of our lovely co-organisers.   9. This is your group and therefore if events don't appeal to you, please make constructive suggestions and we will try to accommodate.   10. We understand that it can be nerve-wracking attending events sometimes, especially for the first time or if you are on your own. If you let us know we will try to help .   11. Your member profile picture must be a clear face picture of you only, without filters or anything else that obscures your identity.  After joining the group, do not change your picture to one that does not comply with the group rules.  Your picture must be a recent picture of you only and must show your face clearly. This is so that host's can identify you when you arrive at events.  12. If a group Admin (Organiser, Co-Organiser, Host, etc) messages you about an event or your conduct and the message requires a response from you, you must respond in a timely manner.  13. The hosts invest a lot of their own personal time which they give up freely to research and post thorough and comprehensive event listings which include requirements for deadlines, payments and other criteria.  Please ensure you read the event details (not just the title) before submitting your RSVP.    14. Attendance figures are monitored by the groups Leadership team and we will periodically remove inactive members who have not attended a Meetup with this group for long periods of time, this includes new members who have not yet attended an event.  We need new members to have attended at lease 1 event within 3 months of joining the group. We would encourage you to come along to one of our "Monthly Mingles" or the "Newbies Event", they are a great way to see what we're all about. See you soon!  Kully

Intuitive Creators, CEOs and Changemakers

Mon
📅 25 May 2026

A space for intuitive and conscious creators, founders, CEOs, and purpose-driven leaders who are no longer satisfied with surface-level success. This group is for those who understand that real growth happens when strategy, energy, identity, and wealth frequency are fully aligned. You may already be building something. You may already be successful. But you recognise that your next level requires clarity, precision, and a different way of operating, one that supports both expansion and sustainability. Inside this space, we explore: • Intuitive leadership and high-level decision-making • Aligning identity with business, visibility, and income • Wealth frequency, expanding your capacity to hold, receive, and sustain higher levels of income • Identifying and removing energetic and strategic constraints • Building profitable, scalable, and aligned businesses • Expanding without burnout, force, or misalignment This is not a networking group. It is a space for depth, clarity, and meaningful conversation with people who are serious about their growth, their work, and the level they are here to operate at. This space is for you if: You are ready to refine how you lead, how you build, and how you expand including how you relate to wealth, success, and receiving.
