We love playing Pool at the Easy Going Pool Club, we just don’t take it too seriously! This group was set up so that members could play pool in a relaxed, fun, easy-going group. Enjoying playing pool can be difficult, as you need to find opponents, and it can be intimidating going to a pub team or league, where the standard of play is high. This group aims to lower that barrier, and provide a place for people who want to play to have a couple of beers and a few casual games, without worrying about how good you are! So, sign up, RSVP, and I’ll see you at the table!

Salam! Welcome to a new Muslim meet up group, based in Bristol! This is between Bristol and Cardiff, and surrounding areas where viable. We are a Muslim-run group expanding the social circle and community for people who are new in town and local to the area, for all backgrounds, genders and religions (not solely Muslims). \\\This is a sister-majority group. There will be couples’ events too as long as husbands are with their wives (or fathers are with their daughters), but for the majority it will be SISTERS-ONLY\\* Activities such as board game evenings, movie nights, open mic/spoken word, annual summer BBQ/picnics, mini getaways, annual stargazing/meteor shower events, urban walks, and more. We are open to suggestions! Most importantly, I hope this encourages Muslims (new in town, new to Islam, etc) to connect during Ramadan where it can be quite alien observing the month on your own and celebrating Eid ul Fitr and Eid Al Adha alone. House rules: 🚨Please do let the organiser know if you are bringing a guest. A lot of events require bookings and some need deposits. It allows me 24hrs to amend the booking and avoid fees! 🚨Men must be accompanied by their wives during events (if it is a couples’ event) otherwise will be asked to leave as these are not matrimonial events and the safety and comfort of the ladies is first priority. 🚨Single men (excl fathers chaperoning daughters) will be removed.

Yay more people! 👋 😊 😆 Hi and welcome to an array of crazy adventures. Have fun, be safe and respect the people you are with 🙏 Peace ✌️ Clare
This is a meet up group for tall (and by tall we mean at least 5`` `9 for a woman and 6` ``2 for a man) people who live in the South West of England and the South of Wales. But all tall people from anywhere are most welcome to attend any of our events. It seems such a shame that the only tall met up that regularly occurs at the moment is the one every month in London and we want to to change that. So we will be hosting events throughout the year in the South West and possibly even some in South Wales. You will probably have to travel to it but it is so lovely to be able to stand up straight and talk to people who know what it is like to have our lofty outlook on life and the travails we have to go through. Glenys is the hostess for these Meetups so please message her on here if you have any suggestions or questions. The London tall Meetup group has over 800 members now so there is no reason why this group cannot have a similar amount of members and a thriving tall meetup community.

Run Crew Bristol is for people who want to run with others without joining a big running club. We organise small, relaxed local runs across Bristol — from beginner-friendly 5Ks to easy evening runs and weekend jogs. The aim is simple: meet people nearby, run at a comfortable pace, and make running feel more social and less intimidating. All levels are welcome, especially beginners and people getting back into running.
