This is a group for ladies (suggested age group 45+) who wish to meet new people and make new friends. Anyone can be an event organiser, even if it's just for a one-off event so if anyone has any ideas for future meetups and would be prepared to organise and host the occasional event, don't be shy. I need your input and some willing volunteers...let's start filling our calendar! You do not have to divulge your surname when joining this group. However, please do provide your real name and not some nickname or user name that you might use on other websites. A profile photo of you is helpful too, so that we can look out for you when you venture out to your first Meetup event. Membership Fees The half yearly membership fee is £5. This money goes towards running the group and Meetup Platform costs. This can be paid by bank transfer or PayPal (friends & family) by the end of April and October each year. Further details will be provided by email before each renewal date. If you have not been able to attend any events in the past 6 months, you may pay a reduced fee of £3. Anyone who fails to pay anything will be removed from the group. If you are removed from the group due to non payment of fees, you will be required to pay £5 to re-join.
