The first of the two Notcutts meetings is on Wednesday 15th April. I hope that I will see you there. Whether you have been along before or not, you are most welcome to join us for some lovely food and drink, plus a chance for a catch up at Notcutts Garden Centre. Due to popular demand, we are going to continue meeting twice a month in 2026. There's plenty of food and drink options to choose from, and I'm sure there's something for everyone. We had an enjoyable and well attended outing there last time, and thank you very much to those who attended. I look forward to seeing everyone again very soon - on Wednesday 15th April 2026. Newcomers to the group are especially welcome to join in with us, so please do add your name to the event now. All members are very welcome. Time for more coffee / tea / cakes / sausage rolls / breakfast / brunch at Notcutts garden centre on Norwich ring road. Nice and easy to find, and has its own very very large free car park. The best place to meet at 11am would probably be just inside the main doors to the restaurant, so let's meet there. Look out for me just inside those two white entrance doors. I will be wearing my glasses with red and black frames. I will contact Notcutts to reserve tables large enough for our group, as the number of us attending is getting larger. Have a coffee, have a cake, have lunch if you like. There are plenty of choices, so come along and have a chat with us all. I look forward to seeing you soon. Steve K. (Event Organiser and Event Host).

Norwich, “All my Friends are Couples”

Sun
📅 24 May 2026
📍 NR2 1EE

Welcome to ‘All my Friends are Couples’ Meet-up! With a variety of activities to choose from throughout the year, hopefully there’ll be something for you here to enjoy with others. We’re an online and in-person social group based in Norwich for those who find they’re the only single person in their friendship group. This group is not necessarily for dating purposes, but if you find a special person, that's a bonus! No pressures, just having conversations with a cross-section of people and enjoying in their company. We embrace and ease the sting of when you have a Friday night free, and all of your friends have decided to stay in with their partners. Or attending weddings solo when everyone else has a plus one. Or even those that have loved and lost partners and find themselves single. From divorcees to “new-in-towns”, 25s-70s, Caucasian, black to Asian, or gay or straight and in between; we don’t discriminate, as long as you’re single upon initially joining us - you’re welcome. We hope to be a diverse group in many respects. Numbers may sometimes be high, or low and that doesn’t concern those who simply want to be in the company of others. There’s no contention with other ‘events’ groups, as please remember that we don’t necessarily focus on the event, but more so meeting and connecting with others. It doesn’t always have to be raucous! Please join us in person or add yourself to this growing group of those seeking friendships when they find themselves single. Keep a look out for our get-together gatherings! 👌🏽 It's time to embrace the single life and enjoy everything it has to offer! \*The group is not for pick-ups, matchmaking, seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

Good Company: Norfolk Women in their 60s

Thu
📅 16 Jul 2026
📍 NR4 7LF

A friendly, in-person Meetup group for women in their 60s living in Norfolk. This is a space for conversation, connection and shared experience, meeting in cafés, going for walks, or having lunch together and enjoying time in good company. There’s no pressure here. You don’t need to be anything other than yourself. It’s not a dating group, and it’s not therapy, just relaxed, real-life conversation with other women who are at a similar stage of life. Many of us find our social circles or circumstances shift in our 60s. This group offers a simple way to connect with others, and perhaps a little with ourselves too. Alongside the laughter and conversation, there’s a quiet intention: to make the most of this stage of life in ways that feel right for each of us whether that’s building friendships, trying something new, or simply having something to look forward to. Most people come on their own. You’ll be very welcome. Regular meetups are free. Occasionally there may be optional paid events, always clearly listed.

Thu
📅 2 Jul 2026
📍 NR3 1FA

We are a relaxed and chilled social group who put on a variety of events for like minded people. These range from regular activities such as our Sunday walks, coffee meets, after work drinks and book club meets, to a wide range of options such as visits to galleries, restaurants, games events, cinema, theatre, live gigs and the occasional party night out, or family friendly event. Most of our members fall into the 30-50 age range, but we won’t discriminate against age. We do try to be as chilled as possible, however we do have some rules and guidelines that we ask people to be aware of: We are predominantly a social group, which means our focus is not on dating. That said, if dating opportunities arise, please treat other members with consideration and respect. Please include a clear, up to date picture of yourself on your profile. This helps us spot new members at events. You will not be accepted into the group without this. If you have tested positive for COVID or have symptoms of any other contagious illness, please do not attend events until you are no longer contagious. Our events are pet free, as we are mindful that some members may have allergies or be uncomfortable around animals. Our events are mainly child free, but we will offer the occasional family friendly event. We ask that you update your RSVP if you can no longer attend an event, even if you’re on the Waiting List. Persistent “No Shows” will result in you being removed from the group. * We are an active group and encourage members to attend events. Inactive members who have not attended any events within 6 months of joining will be removed from the group.

Group rules and guidelines: The focus of this group is to socialise, so the intention is not to date. However, should dating opportunities arise please respect other members, be considerate and use clear communication.
