Welcome Edinburgh Professionals This group is for anybody who wants to make new friends. It's all about fun and enjoying life. We love to do indoor and outdoor events. wide range of walks for all abilities, great nights out, cinema, and cultural events (Edinburgh Fringe, theatre).  We also like to meet up and watch sporting events whilst enjoying a few liquid refreshments. If you're up for it, join up, and meet other Edinburgh Professionals. We're a friendly group and have had some great meet-ups and will have some more great meetups in the future. There are three main aims of this group.              -   To have active organisers and active group members.              -   To have regular events (usually weekly).              -   To try to have fun in and around the Edinburgh Area To achieve these aims group members must observe the following: a)  You must have a photo (of yourself) before you can join up.  This is so that you can recognise the organisers when you come to a meet-up for the first time.  A photo also helps the group's organisers to recognise you. b)  There is currently an annual £5.00 membership fee for this group.  However, you have 30 DAYS FREE TRIAL to see if this group is for you. For each large meetup group, subscriptions to MEETUP are currently $350 a year.  Your £5 will help pay for the running of this group. VeLothian

VeLothian is a group for anyone interested in meeting up with some like-minded people for (non-serious) cycling. We are an inclusive group, welcoming people of all genders. Our cycles are on-road, off-road or anywhere else with some (serious) café stops thrown in. Any distance in the Edinburgh area - Lothians and Borders, Fife and beyond. Beyond could mean weekend trips to the Highlands or Yorkshire or even Mallorca. Most rides will be on road and around the 40 to 50 mile mark, but that will depend entirely upon the organiser who sets up the ride. 25 miles or up to 100 miles plus is good too. There is also the occasional cycle path and/or gravel cycle. There is an annual £5 subscription, running from March to February. This is to cover the Meetup fees. In fairness to those who have paid, non payers will be removed from the group. If you are a new member, you are welcome to come along on a ride to help decide if it is the group for you, before joining. Please put up a recent photograph of yourself which clearly shows your face, so others can recognise you on rides. If you don’t put up a photo, you will not be allowed to join the group. Nature has played a huge part in my life. Without the trees, forests and soil i wouldnt be here now. I invite you to join me on a walk up the steps of Aurthurs seat, to the summit. Every Monday at 6am. Healthy movement, some talking if you have anything you want to share, but mostly just enjoying the present moment, overcoming the physical and mental obstacles we encounter in life. Edinburgh Travel and Social Events Meetup Group

This group is for avid travellers who have seriously missed being able to travel in the last year and who want to start travelling again with new companions when allowed. In the first instance I will set up an organised outdoor meeting/walk of up to 15 people for exercise as allowed by the restrictions, so that we can get to know each other. There will also be twice weekly social nights out to restaurants with limited numbers until all restrictions lifted.
