Join us for a gentle weekly Mama Circle throughout August—a space to slow down, connect and remember that you don't have to navigate motherhood alone.
These circles offer a little more structure than our usual Mama Connect mornings, with time to share, listen and hold space for one another through the joys and challenges of this season of life.
If the weather is kind, we'll gather beneath the trees in People's Park, opposite the café, where you can grab a drink before we begin. There are toilets nearby, and older children are very welcome to come along—simply bring some toys or an activity to keep them occupied.
We'll also make the most of being outdoors with a couple of simple breathing and meditation practices each week. Nothing complicated—just gentle practices to help us return to ourselves so we can show up with a little more presence in our roles as mamas, partners, friends and, importantly, for ourselves.
I'll most likely have Maya with me too. Partly because that's the reality of this season of life, but also because I believe practice doesn't have to wait until life is quiet. Together we'll explore what it means to weave moments of presence into the beautiful unpredictability of motherhood.
We know that life with little ones rarely runs to plan, so please don't worry if you're running late. Come when you can. We'll aim to begin around 10.30am and finish the circle at 11.30am, with time afterwards for anyone who would like to stay and connect more informally.
There is no pressure to share, no expectation to have it all together, and no need to be anything other than exactly as you are.
