Sessions for Kids Our children’s mindfulness classes are rooted in Kadampa Buddhism, where kids will learn to meditate and explore foundational concepts like inner peace, compassion, gratitude, and self-confidence. These classes help children develop essential life skills such as empathy, respect, concentration, and self-control. Under the guidance of experienced facilitators, the children will be introduced to meditation and creative activities. Through arts and crafts, they will engage in meaningful, imaginative activities that spark reflection, creativity, and fun. For Parents: While the children engage in Arts and Crafts, parents will be guided by Chelvi, a Buddhist meditation teacher and fellow parent, in a 30-minute session on mindful parenting. This includes a short guided meditation and a workshop on applying mindfulness to everyday family life. As a parents, learning simple meditation techniques can help you cultivate calm, even amidst the busyness and challenges of family life.
