One of the worlds most practiced spiritual disciplines. Developed over thousands of years these sessions concentrate on bringing balance and harmony to both body and mind, through postures and breath. They can help to boost the immune system, encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment.
Sport in Mind are delighted to present this free, welcoming and supportive yoga session at Winchester College Sports Centre every Tuesday at 11.30am-12.30pm. This session is open to anyone 17 years or older who is experiencing low mood, stress, social isolation or a mental health problem. It is free to attend, open to all abilities and all equipment is provided! This session is drop-in and so no need to book, all we ask of new joiners is you complete a short participant form which is designed to keep you safe at our sessions.
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that you can practice sitting on a chair or by standing and using a chair for support. It can be practiced by everyone and is an excellent way to improve your flexibility, strengthen your muscle tone, develop balance, and achieve mental wellbeing.
