Becoming Artful Women – Art Therapy Support Group

Tue
📅 30 Jun 2026
📍 EC1A 9HP

This is a group for women who are seeking support and connection through creative art therapy. The modern world can feel like a hostile place for women and it does not seem to be getting better in the current political and social climate. This group is for women who feel disconnected, uneasy and disheartened by their current circumstances. It is a place to come and feel seen, heard and connected to other women through our creativity, artistic exploration and shared experiences as women in the modern world. Supportive group therapy is a great place to come if you are struggling and are feeling alone in that struggle. Support groups can help us to feel more connected and supported in what we are going through at any given moment. Sharing our feelings and experiences can help us feel seen, heard and not alone in our circumstances. This can be helpful in moving towards a better understanding of ourselves and this awareness and help us to move towards therapeutic change. Using the creative arts helps us to bring to light what is more hidden and helps us to connect with what is happening to us internally. There is therapeutic effect in the act of creating and in the exploration that creativity can open up. I hope you will join us for our weekly online art therapy support group.

Contemporary Art London

All ages
📍 W1S 4RX

It's been a long while since our last Contemporary Art London event, but I'm really excited to announce our next outing into the gallery scene. We'll be returning to our regular route, visiting five of the big-brand galleries you'll find around Mayfair. And there's a lot to see! Flavin, Judd, McCracken, Ryman, Sandback at David Zwirner Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, John McCracken, Robert Ryman, and Fred Sandback were at the avant-garde of American art during the 1960s and 1970s, the show bringing together a selection of sculptures, paintings and prints that radically reconfigured the possibilities of abstraction, focusing in particular on these artists’ considered use of colour in their pursuit of a non-representational form of expression. Thomas Scheibitz at Sprueth Magers Scheibitz is among the most important German painters and sculptors of his generation. Since the early 1990s, he has developed a kind of conceptual painting and sculpture that draws upon art-historical references, and at the heart of the Berlin-based artist’s work is a search for a new relationship between figuration and abstraction. Alyina Zaidi at Pillar Corrias Rewilding is a solo exhibition of new paintings by Alyina Zaidi. The exhibition continues the artist’s practice of world-making, envisioning surreal, imagined topographies shaped by memory and myth. Tetsumi Kudo at Hauser & Wirth In a wide-ranging practice spanning four decades, post-war Japanese artist Tetsumi Kudo explored the implications of what would later be termed the Anthropocene in prescient work that interrogated the proliferation of mass consumption, the rise of technology and environmental degradation. **5.
