Becoming Artful Women – Art Therapy Support Group
This is a group for women who are seeking support and connection through creative art therapy. The modern world can feel like a hostile place for women and it does not seem to be getting better in the current political and social climate. This group is for women who feel disconnected, uneasy and disheartened by their current circumstances. It is a place to come and feel seen, heard and connected to other women through our creativity, artistic exploration and shared experiences as women in the modern world. Supportive group therapy is a great place to come if you are struggling and are feeling alone in that struggle. Support groups can help us to feel more connected and supported in what we are going through at any given moment. Sharing our feelings and experiences can help us feel seen, heard and not alone in our circumstances. This can be helpful in moving towards a better understanding of ourselves and this awareness and help us to move towards therapeutic change. Using the creative arts helps us to bring to light what is more hidden and helps us to connect with what is happening to us internally.
