Welcome to Mindfulness for Wellbeing. This group is for anyone looking to explore mindfulness and enhance wellbeing, whether you’re new to mindfulness, returning, or an experienced practitioner. Sessions are offered online, scheduled in London time, suitable for participants across Europe and beyond. You’ll learn practical mindfulness techniques to reduce stress, cultivate clarity, and bring balance to everyday life. We offer: Weekly drop-in sessions for a short mindfulness practice. 3-week Introductory Mindfulness Course – a gentle introduction to mindfulness practice. 8-week evidence-based MBSR program – Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a structured, research-supported program designed to help participants manage stress, increase awareness, and develop resilience. Through guided exercises and practical practices, you’ll learn to bring mindfulness into your everyday life. One-on-one sessions for deeper, personalized guidance. About the Teacher: I am a qualified MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) mindfulness teacher through Brown University, a certified meditation coach, and a mindfulness practitioner. I am also a yoga therapist in training. I facilitate group classes, retreats, and one-on-one sessions for individuals from all walks of life, including creatives, independent business owners, professionals, and medical practitioners. My other professional roles include teaching mindfulness and meditation to people whose lives have been impacted by cancer at Maggie’s Cancer Care Center. Safety and Participation: Mindfulness is an evidence-based practice that supports calm, clarity, and wellbeing. It is generally safe for most people, but if you have a history of mental health challenges (such as PTSD, bipolar disorder) or other health concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before joining. For a supportive and interactive experience, we kindly invite participants to keep cameras on during sessions. New comers to meditation especially welcome. Active meditations were designed by Osho with us westerners in mind. It can be challenging with our hectic lifestyles, full of stimulus to just sit down and switch off into silence. How many times have you heard people say' I just can't meditate, my mind is too busy, my body cannot be still etc...' Active meditations were designed by Osho to use the body and breath first, enabling us to 'empty our vessel ' through physical movement breath-work and/or using sound. By doing this we release pent up emotions and tension in the body so that we are more able to reach inner stillness, silence and meditation On the third Saturdays of the month we will have a monthly Osho Dynamic meditation at Lauderdale House which is situated on the entrance to Waterlow Park; an easy walk from Archway tube which is on the Northern line. Meditations are open for everyone to join in!! Regular practice is so healthy and beneficial for mind and body in this day and age. If you cannot afford the suggested fee to join us for a meditation class please ask for an alternative payment plan. Nobody is refused at our meditation classes! Periodically through the months we will also offer classes and workshops to practice other active meditations by Osho. These workshops are aimed at everyone particularly pensioners struggling to exercise, young people burnt out from work, middle aged men who want to cultivate a gentle yoga practice and women preparing for pregnancy. They are also aimed at people who want a safe space to be nurtured and to grow in their exercise and lifestyle regimes. I will be offering tips surrounding different kinds of exercises, Ayurvedic body types, Ayurvedic herbs for sleep and anxiety management. The in person session will be in a beautiful room with a marvellous view. I will have fairy lights and essential oils to aid with relaxation. It will finish with an Ayurvedic drink and healthy snack. The price includes the yoga class, my Ayurvedic knowledge tips and everything else I mentioned. The first introductory session will explain my program for future events and give a flavour of how they may progress. My suggestions can be seen as guidance rather than gospel. It is up to the individual to take helpful guidance and action what’s best for them. No liability or responsibility will be taken in the event they don’t work as these are suggestions only.
